Risk Management Setup

Configure the core settings for Pryme Risk Management.

The Risk Management Setup page holds the core configuration for Pryme Risk Management. Open this page and complete the required settings before you register your first risk.

Open Risk Management Setup

Choose the 🔎 icon, enter Risk Management Setup, and then choose the related link.

Settings

Configure the fields on the setup page:

General

  • Risk Nos. — the number series used to assign numbers to risks.
  • Template Risk Nos. — the number series used to assign numbers to risk templates. Must be a different series than Risk Nos..

Reminders

  • Send Overdue Risk Review Reminders — turns on automatic emails to risk owners when a risk passes its Next Review Date.
  • Send Overdue Mitigation Action Reminders — turns on automatic emails to action owners when a mitigation action line passes its Due Date.

Turning either setting on schedules a recurring job queue entry that sends the reminders; turning it off cancels that job queue entry.

The following actions on the Risk Management Setup page open the other lists used to configure Risk Management:

  • Likelihood Levels and Impact Levels — the scales used to score risks. See Scoring Setup.
  • Risk Categories — classifies risks by type. See Scoring Setup.
  • Risk Score Zones — score ranges, review intervals, and matrix colors. See Risk Score Zones.
  • Mitigation Actions — the reusable catalog of action types used on risk mitigation action lines. See Mitigation Actions.
  • Risk Templates (under Templates) — predefined risks you can reuse when creating new risks for a related record.
  • Risk Template Sets (under Templates) — named sets of risk templates that seed a full set of risks and mitigation actions for a related record in one action.

Sending reminders manually

Under Reminders, two actions let you send reminder emails immediately instead of waiting for the scheduled job queue entry:

  • Send Overdue Risk Review Reminders
  • Send Overdue Mitigation Action Reminders

Each action requires the matching Send Overdue... setting to be turned on.
