Setting up project work

Learn about the setting up project work.

Before you can manage project work processes, you must configure the values that define the company’s project work policies.

You must define the general setup on the Pryme Project Work Setup page, which is typically done once during the initial implementation.

A separate series of tasks, related to setting up resources, is to be informed about the progress of work items you’re responsible for.

1 - Setting up project work

Before working with project work, specify on Pryme Project Work Setup the number series used for work items.

On the Number Series FastTab, you must specify unique identification code to use for work items.

2 - Set up resources for users

To correctly manage project work activities, you must set up users on resources.

To set up a resource

On a card for your resource, you need to assign the time sheet owner user.

  1. Choose the ๐Ÿ”Ž icon, enter Resources, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select the Resource and choose the Edit action.
  3. Fill in the field Time Sheet Owner User ID.

To set up a resource on PGS

  1. Choose the ๐Ÿ”Ž icon, enter User Setup, and then choose the related link.
  2. Fill in the field Resource Code on the selected User Setup.
